filebacktaxes.com ("File Back Taxes", "we") is a referral service that connects people with unfiled tax returns or tax problems with independent tax resolution firms and tax professionals. We do not prepare returns or give tax advice.
Information we collect
When you submit a request we collect the information you enter (name, phone number, email, state, years unfiled, whether you have received tax notices, and any details you choose to share), the page you submitted from, the date and time, and a record of your consent. We may also collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type). Form submissions are processed by our form provider, FormSubmit.
How we use and share it
We use your information to route your request to one or more independent tax resolution firms or tax professionals, who may contact you by call or text about your request. We share your information with that business for this purpose, and may be compensated for referrals. We do not sell your information to data brokers.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information, and may opt out of sharing. To make a request, contact us at leads@filebacktaxes.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Opting out of calls and texts
Reply STOP to any text message, or tell the caller you no longer wish to be contacted.
Retention & security
We keep request records as long as needed to provide the service, maintain consent records, and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect them.
